As Wedding Planners, we’ve see lots of wedding favours….the good, the bad and the sometimes bizarre!
We are always on hand to help our couples find the perfect balance of personal and creative ideas while remaining sustainable and eco-friendly. The last things any bride wants to see is all all the favours still left on the table at the end of the wedding, so lets make them irresistable.
We know how important a personal and thoughtful touch is and how special it will make your guests feel – a keep sake for them to cherish forever and remember your special day.
With the current situation we also recognise that smaller numbers means (hopefully!) a bigger budget per head, leaving room for more room for a little well needed luxury.
Check out our top tips we give our wonderful couples to make sure they get it right:
1 – Think about your table
Think about how you can incorporate your wedding favours into the table setting. Not only is this cost effective, but it also makes your guests feel special with things like personal name place cards.
Things like coasters, napkins and personal mason jars are great ideas too!
2 – Think outside the box
Make your wedding favour memorable. We usually suggest thinking of something that isn’t only something special, but also something useful that your guests will actually use and enjoy. Hangover kits, seeds and fans (a must for our summer Barcelona weddings) have all done down particularly well in recent years.
Seeds and plants are not just something personal and long- lasting, but also eco-friendly and sustainable.
We think the most useful wedding favour of 2020 has to be personalised hand sanitiser though!
3 – Think about your younger guests
Last but not least – don’t forget the kids. There’s no doubt younger guests will get bored at some point during the celebrations, so it’s always a good idea to provide them with some sort of entertainment. Not only will this keep them amused, but it will also give their parents more time for adult conversations!
From wedding packs for children filled with colouring books, pens, magazines and toys – to designated tipi space full of fun – it’s always a good idea to keep the younger guests happy.
