We brought the best of Barcelona’s urban scene together for one of our fabulous US tech clients.
The historic part of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) was the setting for one of the great events we organised in Barcelona this May. The venue is situated in Plaça dels Angels in the neighbourhood El Raval, a famous skateboarding spot – which was honoured in our theme.
After a conference day, more than 600 guests made their way to Convent dels Angels, into the beautiful gothic space within. To entertain guests on their entrance, professional bikers and skaters showed off some impressive tricks.
Inside, attendees were able to enjoy urban dancers which performed alongside bike trial artists and the best local DJs. Barcelona’s local cuisine was represented by Basque inspired pintxos, a paella bar, calamari counter and delicious churros!
Molecular cocktails were also on offer with plenty of eye-catching options exploring techniques such as liquid nitrogen and smoke.
The client took home a part of the event with their ‘tagged by guests’ graffiti bear designed by tattoo artist Jota Paint especially for the occasion.
Some of the best event shots!
