Secret spots in Ibiza

We’ve sought out the coolest places off the beaten track for you to enjoy while in Ibiza …

There’s nowhere in the world people associate more with the good times than Ibiza, however this Balearic island in the Mediterranean Sea, have a lot more to offer than just some of the best nightclubs in the world! Having explored the quieter villages and sandy coves backed by pine-clad hills, we’ve found the hotspots for you to visit when in Ibiza or even inspire you to take the trip to see the other side of this party island.

These spots bring together the beauty of the island with the buzzing atmosphere…

1) Nagai

This Asian fusion restaurant situated on the road to Sant Llorenc can’t be missed with its stunning Geisha graffiti.  We recommend going for dinner and sitting on the terrace where you will get a real feel for why Nagai is described as “A feast for all the senses!”. Enjoy the good vibes, delicious food and great cocktails.


2) Aubergine

Aubergine is a beautiful Mediterranean ‘Farm to Table’ country restaurant that serves healthy and wholesome dishes with fresh produce from the garden in the heart of Ibiza’s countryside located between Santa Gertrudis and San Miguel. The chic and rural environment creates a family friendly atmosphere and a private space for those who want to enjoy the quiet and slow pace of the north of the island.


3) Paradiso

Paradiso with it’s Art Deco design isn’t just a pink paradise where all your Instagram dreams come true, but also an artsy heaven. There’s art featured in each of the rooms, plus an Art Library and Gallery which are open to both guests and the public, ready for you to get your creative juices flowing.


4) Sa Caleta

You’ll find this restaurant in the most idyllic spot on the south side of the island. Nestled on a small beach overlooking the crystal clear water and surrounded by the red rocks you really can’t go wrong with this Mediterranean gem. Plus rumour has it they have the best paella in the world!


5) La Paloma

La Paloma can be found in the village of San Lorenzo, right in the middle of the island. With a beautiful candlelit garden that can be enjoyed in the warmer months and a cozy fireplace for the winter, it’s always a good time to visit this authentic restaurant serving delicious homemade dishes.

6) La Granja

This boutique hotel combines beautiful design, delicious food and a laid back attitude in the most perfect way imaginable. Set on a 10-hectare farmstead, La Granja aims to preserve the natural beauty of the island through local initiatives and programs supporting organic farming. If you’re staying somewhere else we would like to let you in on a little secret – you can make a reservation for a spot at the farmer’s table, where you’ll eat family style at large communal tables, enjoying the simple, farm-to-table cuisine and have a taste of this unique place untouched by time and tourism.


7) Patchwork

Patchwork is the coolest Rooftop and bar around, with its colourful decor and views across the sea and Dalt Vila, it’s the first and only Lebanese restaurant in Ibiza. The delicious meze and sharing plates make it perfect for groups, we recommend going at sunset!


8) La Bodega

We couldn’t make a list in Spain without adding a Tapas restaurant and La Bodega is definitely one of the best, this unpretentious eatery inspired by the spirit of the island and a favourite among locals as well as visitors. You can admire the beautiful views of the castle from their terrace but it’s definitely worth taking a look inside and seeing this rustic Ibicenco storehouse and a stable that’s been transformed into a cozy restaurant and a sparkling cocktail bar.


9) The Giri

The Giri Residence is a beautiful hidden gem of a hotel which also has a restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. Located in the north of Ibiza and set within lush grounds this perfect haven guarantees you’ll be able to escape the stresses of daily life and relax.
