OnBlackheath – A new London Music & Food Festival

A new weekender festival promising some astonishing music headliners, luminary chefs and immersive dining experiences in Gizzi’s ‘chefs’ club’. OnBlackheath has the potential to deliver super foodie delights, music and family fun this September.

We feel this will be a welcome addition the London festival calendar: OnBlackheath looks like it will provide a great escape from our standard city weekends and of course we love the fact that food is featuring so intensely. There will be a diverse selection of street food and the much beloved Gizzi Erskine will be hosting the ‘Chef’s Club’, with cooking demos, eats and drinks with seven top chefs per day (including some with Michelin Stars). Plus The Farmers Market will be open for guests to purchase produce to take home from the festival.

Evidently another huge reason to attend the festival is the impressive musical line up. Expect: Live musical performances from show stoppers such as Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Athlete and Frank Turner and DJ sets from Hot Chip, Boiler Room and many more artists.

If you feel like getting creative, there are exciting workshops available to adults and kids, think hula hooping, track mixing and swing dancing and even classics like the sack race!

So brush off the end of summer blues and check out this new excuse for a celebration of London, music, family and fun on London’s historic Blackheath.
