When we booked in to see the elBulli – Ferran Adrià and The Art of Food exhibition at Somerset House, we had no idea just how thrilling the viewing of a progressive journey of a restaurant and a retrospective showcase of the work of a gastronomic master would be.
This truly is an exhibition for anyone that revels in creativity, passion, food, art and is enthused at the potential theatre and wonder that can be created through the acts of cooking, creation, serving and the action of eating.
We have only included a few teaser images below, as not expose the experience too much. If you can go, do. It is well worth it. If you want to see all the pictures we took, we have uploaded them into an album on our Facebook page: Click here
Honestly we were energised and galvanised after visiting this exhibition. This experience reminded us just why we do what we do – for love, for passion and because we just couldn’t do anything else. Thank you to the elBulli exhibition at Somerset House – for helping to keep that fire and exuberance for all things edible that can be experienced, alive.
For anyone that loves the art of dining and entertaining, go lose yourself in someone else’s skill and vocation. It is inspiring.
“I am delighted to be presenting it in London at the prestigious Somerset House, another creative hub which, like elBulli, always invites you to try something new and perhaps a little unpredictable.” Extract from the Somerset House website.
